My work spans the content strategy spectrum, from website design and app design to information architecture and marketing. I’ve led teams of writers to develop hundreds of pages of content, in-depth audits, and led major UX research initiatives. In my current role, I developed full websites including UX design, content strategy for complex cloud documentation, and information architecture.

Information Architecture

Great design is focused on user experience and structured upon a system of information that supports an intuitive experience.

I’ve created site navigations that support each persona and their needs in navigating the site. I’ve done this by conducting analytics and user research to optimize content management. This includes the organization and migration of over 900 documents in Fidelity’s internal website for cloud engineers, Highway, as well as over 600 documents on Fidelity’s FBT Cloud Architecture site, The Resiliency Book of Knowledge, InnerSource, and many more.

Writing

As a professional writer and univeristy writing instructor, I have over 25 years of writing experience. I’ve written everything from book chapters, academic articles, white papers, and CEO keynote speeches, to highly technical documents, site copy, video scripts, and blogs.

Great writing is about understanding your audience and having a goal. From there, you can craft narratives that inspire and motivate people and take them on a journey that they will remember.

Team Leadership

Team leadership is about understanding how to express one’s vision, share it, and inspire teams to support it. And the most important piece of that is effective communication that prioritizes listening and speaking from the heart. Through effective communication, you can build and foster powerful relationships that create trust and inspire trustworthiness.
